Arte Y Pico

I can't think what I have done to deserve it but Judy - The Spindling Scot has awarded me the Arte Y Pico award. I feel both honoured and guilty because I have blogged so little lately. Maybe it is the incentive I need to post more regularly. Thank you so much Judy!

Rules in English:

1) You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award, creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogger community, no matter of language.
2) Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his or her blog to be visited by everyone.
3) Each award-winning, has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award itself.
4) Award-winning and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of "
Arte y pico" blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5) To show these rules.

Award winners are:...

These are the blogs I would like to pass the award on to. All of them I have found inpiring both creatively and many other ways.

Judy would definitely be top of my list if she didn't already have the award, I am frequetly in awe of her skill and expertise both in spinning and dyeing.

Woolly Wormhead - I have not only followed with relish Ruth's progress to becoming a successful author of her own individualistic patterns but also the birth of her son and the ambiton to leave her flat for a life on the road. This is all coming to fruition now so it is a very fitting time to be awarded this as she starts a new phase in her creative life.

Fyberspates - This year has been an excting one with Jeni giving up her 'day job' to throw herself into her yarn business and travel all over the world. Besides being inspiring in showing how it is possible to change your life and have the life you really want she has also raised awareness of the wider issues involved in the yarn we buy. Oh and did I say? - her yarns are beautiful. As without so within.

Ambermoggie - Can there be a more generous or compassionate blogger? She chronicles her life through knitting and the pagan wheel of the year with beauty and thoughtfulness. Is it any wonder so many other bloggers think the world of her too.

Chez Plum - Sylvie's passion for fibre shows in all her posts. Her creative energy seems channelled and focussed, making her one of my role models. I love the way she has marketted her designs with flair and creativity. She is also generous in helping other bloggers and many times has helped me out with my pitiful attempts at te frech language.

Last but not least Tutley Mutley at Knitknack Paddywack give a Blog a Home I suppose the common theme with all the people I have picked is that they live lives that inspire me and Terry is right up there. As well as being , like me, an avid knitter she is a midwife and often blogs about the trials and joys of that. I always feel inspired to make more of my life when I read of her escapades whether walking the dogs or running around in Thailand.

So why not stop by and congratulate these extraordinary women? There are lots of others I would like to nominate but I am sure they will not be overlooked and someone else will be nominating them soon. All of these women encourage me to feel that life, ordinary, everyday life can be full, creative and compassionate.

Thank you so much Maylin for your kind words, I really find it hard to see myself as "chanelled and focused" (still have patterns nearly ready to publish and yet I don't take the time !!) so it's really appreciated..! :-P
I've just added my nominees on my blog as well !
Have a great week-end !
